How Our Network Works

Request an estimate

Who you talk to

You talk to an independent tree provider. Not to Ratherpress Tree Service. We make the introduction, and then the provider takes over.

Each provider runs their own business. They have their own crew, equipment, prices and calendar. That is why one provider may sound different from the next.

What happens on the first call

Expect a short chat. The provider will ask where you are and what the tree looks like. They may ask about:

  • The type and height of the tree
  • Whether it is touching a roof, fence or wires
  • Whether anyone is hurt or in danger
  • Photos you can send

Some providers will want to see the tree in person. Others can give a rough range first. Many providers can respond quickly, but timing depends on their workload, so no one can promise a start time.

What to ask a provider

If you have never hired tree work, here is a simple list. Keep it handy.

  • Can I get the quote in writing?
  • Does the price include cleanup and hauling?
  • Is stump grinding included, or extra?
  • Do you carry liability insurance? Can you show proof?
  • Will you protect my lawn, roof and fence?
  • How long will the job take?
  • What happens if the weather turns?

Ask for it in writing. A clear quote prevents most surprises.

You are in control

You do not have to say yes. You can compare more than one provider. You can ask questions twice. You can wait a day to think.

Typical U.S. tree removal costs vary a lot by size, access and risk, so treat any phone number as a rough guide until you have a written quote.

If something feels rushed or unclear, pause. A trustworthy provider will explain the plan and let you decide.
